Every good casting starts with a good die. Our in-house tool room designs and manufactures pressure dies, moulds, jigs and fixtures — engineered for precision and long tool life, with Design-for-Manufacture input applied before any steel is cut. Why It Matters

The die decides the part

In pressure die casting, the tool defines almost everything downstream — how cleanly metal fills the cavity, where gas and shrinkage go, the surface you get straight from the die, and how consistently every shot repeats. A die that is well designed and well built produces sound, dimensionally stable parts with minimal machining stock; a poorly designed one fights you on every run. That is why we keep tooling in-house rather than outsourcing it.

Because the same team designs the die, casts the part and machines it, feedback flows straight back into the tool. There is one party accountable for the tool and the parts it makes — no finger-pointing between a separate die maker and foundry when something needs tuning.

Design for Manufacture

Get the geometry right before the steel is cut

Tooling is a real up-front investment, so it pays to get the part right on paper first. Before we build a die, our team reviews your drawing for the details that decide whether a casting fills and solidifies cleanly:

  • Wall thickness — kept uniform and as thin as the part allows for clean fill and minimal porosity.
  • Draft & radii — draft on vertical faces for clean ejection, generous fillets to ease metal flow and reduce stress.
  • Gating & venting — placed to fill progressively and push gas to vents, for pressure-tight, leak-free parts.
  • Machining & post-treatment allowance — planned into the tool so finishing and any heat treatment are accounted for from the start.
